Accessibility

Rumleigh Farm was not built originally with any kind of sympathy for difficulties in mobility or the aging process!

We have endeavored to make amends but we are still built on a very steep incline and there is a lot of gravel around!

Dragonfly

The converted stables provides accommodation all on one level. There are no steps to get in but there is gravel outside the front door and on the patio. However it is not deep and has been successfully used by people on sticks and with mobility scooters. The bathroom has grab rails in the shower and a bar next to the toilet.

There are no chairs with arms but we will endeavor to give you one if it is required.

Mobility scooters are fine to get you to your door and can be used easily in the courtyard and up the lane. You would need an off road scooter to get to the river. The courtyard is flat concrete, the parking area is gravel.

Yellowhammer

The is a step up to the door, two steps down to the dinning room with hand rails both sides. One step to sitting room with no rail. There is a downstairs toilet. Upstairs there is no extra assistance in the bathrooms. The blue family bedroom has a step up into the room with no rail.

This accommodation is only suitable for individuals who can easily get up and out of chairs and can master steps with little problem.
