Accommodation at Rumleigh

Rumleigh Farm offers different types of accommodation to suit everyone right on the border of Devon and Cornwall it offers, stylish B&B accommodation in Yellowhammer and Self catering in Dragonfly it is a self contained cottage all with an emphasis on relaxing comfort, locally sourced foods and a real ‘get away from it all’ feeling.

It is set in within a World Heritage Site,  an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONB) the Tamar Valley, Rumleigh Farm sits on the banks of the Tamar, Rumleigh offers you the best of all worlds - close to the wilds of Dartmoor, yet nestled in it’s own nature rich valley with Otters, Badgers, Deer, Greater and Lesser Horseshoe bats and a vast panoply of birds ranging from Avocets to Yellowhammers. The closest town is Tavistock an award winning market town, with a wonderful Pannier Market.  Both coasts are under and hour away.

Although no longer a working farm, Rumleigh has 30 acres for you to stroll through and explore, including a stunning Summer house right on the river bank. Our buttercup filled fields have South Devon Cows on (our neighbours) and are fenced to allow you to walk around without the need to face-off the animals!

All the views surrounding are agricultural, but the Heritage of Mining is also evident with old disused chimney stacks poking into the sky.

Everyone comments on the peace and quiet and on the clear night skies. The vast numbers of birds birds can produce an unbelievable sound - which is a joy to wake up to.

Whatever time of year you cannot help but feel relaxed.
